IBEW Local 1212 and CBS News have agreed to a 30-day contract extension while negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement continue. The current contract was set to expire, but will remain in effect during this period to allow both parties additional time to reach a fair and comprehensive agreement. The negotiating committee has been working diligently on behalf of all Local 1212 members. We are committed to securing the best possible agreement that reflects the contributions and professionalism of our members. Updates will be provided as negotiations progress.
